I swear sometimes I look at Max and he looks straight-up bored! We are ready for warmer weather so we can play outside longer and go for walks in the woods without thinking a coyote is going to come out and scare us.
But until then, we are snuggling up, staying warm and finding mentally stimulating games to pass the time. It's not all bad!
This is a win with most dog owners. This is an excellent way to manage your dog's behavior. Management is a way to eliminate unwanted behaviors. If your dog jumps on the counter while you are cooking dinner, you can give him this Pupsicle on his place or behind a gate to redirect his attention away from you.
The Pupsicle is also a great way to mentally stimulate your dog. We want your dog to enjoy physical and mental stimulation in a day and this toy is a great way to get your dog to lick, nibble and problem solve. The Pupsicle has treats for filling and it has molds so you can make your own healthy and yummy concoction based on what your dog prefers.
I think this bed looks good on the couch! And, I always love giving your dog a spot to go. What a great way to give your dog access to the couch without giving them the whole thing.
You always get a win in my book with machine washable and portable. You can use one dog bed and bring it around the house. You can put it on the floor when guests come. Or on your kid's best during bedtime. Giving your dog a place to go, like this dog bed, eliminates confusion and allows them to rest.
In the past few years, vets and dog owners have become more aware of food allergies and how they impact a dog's digestive system. Vets caution dog owners to make some changes to their dog's diet, including eliminating chicken.
I have been surprised to see how many dog treats include chicken as an ingredient, including the beef treats. These Stella & Chewy treats are some of Max's favorite. I always look for high protein treats to keep the dogs motivated and limited ingredients to keep it as healthy as possible. These treats are 3 calories per treat and you can still break them up for a smaller reward.
Small, low calorie treats like these are also great for filling up a snuffle mat!
For all those water beards out there dripping across the kitchen! Some dogs are just sloppy drinkers! This water bowl has a board that floats in the water so you dog can only drink out of a small puddle in the bowl. They still have access to water, they can still drink as much as they can, but their face doesn't get all wet.
This jacket is pretty great! I like it best for small dogs because the dogs have to walk into the holes but if your big dog is tolerant when putting on jackets, this one is sure to keep them warm in the winter.
The quality is great; the zipper and clips are sturdy and well made. The harness is one of the best when it comes to leash handling with a jacket on. With all the snow coming this February, this Puppia jacket is a great way to get outside while keeping your dog warm.
It is so hard to know what to buy in a sea of options. These are some favorites amongst dogs and dog owners alike. What I like most about these must-have dog items is that they are pretty good at fulfilling their purpose. The Pupsicle fulfills its goal of occupying your dog, the Puppia jacket keeping your dog warm while still being able to handle your dog effectively. It is hard to know if you are buying the right thing, but if your new dog item solves the problem you set out to fix, then it is a win!
